Damaged Coast roads in line for fix
HINTERLAND roads are next in line for a fix months after cyclone Debbie tore through.
Restoration works at a critical site along Currumbin Creek-Tomewin Mountain Rd will be finished this month.
Transport and Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey said with around 200 landslips recorded, repairing the damage is a mammoth effort.
“Georgiou Group will carry out work on Gold CoastSpringbrook Rd and McIlwain Civil Engineering will repair Lamington National Park Rd,” Mr Bailey said
“Construction should be complete by the end of 2018, weather permitting.”
