EXTRA BIRTHDAY GIFT

MORE than 20 people will celebrate their birthdays while taking part in Gold Run 2018 on Sunday, April 15, the official 5km community fun run of GC2018.

One of those will be Upper Coomera resident Nerys Lewis, who will turn 40 on race day.

“To be able to run in the fun run at the same time as the marathon will be a great honour,” said Nerys.

“I can’t wait to experience that sense of fulfilment with an amazing atmosphere and grand people around me.”
