VILLAGE LEAVES MARK

THE Commonwealth Games Village is part of one of the most significant urban renewal projects ever undertaken on the Gold Coast.

The Parklands Project features 7ha of residential and retail precincts and 7ha of parklands and open space. The site has been leased by GOLDOC to be transformed into the Games Village which will host 6600 athletes and team officials.

It will provide a lasting legacy after the Games including housing, retail, businesses and infrastructure in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.
