SUPERCOACHES have gone cold on South Sydney’s Greg Inglis as Gold Coast recruit Jai Arrow shoots into reckoning.

Inglis was the 19th most popular player eight days ago, but has slumped to 43rd following news he may miss round one with an ACL injury.

Even if he does return for the season opener, the Kangaroos and Maroons great may be relegated to a left centre role, where he’ll perform far less work.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Arrow is the hottest player in NRL SuperCoach.

Arrow sat outside the 50 most popular SuperCoach players prior to last week’s launch, but has since surged to 15th, now owned by over a quarter of SuperCoaches.

The former Bronco’s rise comes on the back of news he is a serious contender for the starting lock spot at the Titans.

Arrow averaged 29 minutes in the star-studded Brisbane pack last year, but that number will increase dramatically if he scores the No. 13 jumper in a far weaker Gold Coast pack.

■ Arrow’s teammate Leilani Latu has seen a similar rise, surging from 44th to 16th. With Jarrod Wallace suspended for two games and Ryan James on the edge, the former Panther is set to start 2018 as the Titans’ top prop.

■ Dragon Luciano Leilua has moved from 33rd to 14th. SuperCoaches hope the brother of Canberra’s BJ Leilua scores at least some of the 80 minutes freed up by Joel Thompson’s Manly move.
