LOCAL ACCESS AND PARKING

GAMES ROUTE NETWORK (GRN)
The GRN links the athletes village to precincts to help athletes and officials get to their events on time. The GRN is located along Nerang-Broadbeach Rd, Labrador-Carrara Rd (Ross St), Boulton Dr and Alabaster Dr.

(Only accessible to accredited vehicles) – parts of Nerang-Broadbeach Rd and Ross St.
NERANG TRAIN STATION
Nerang Train Station will be transformed into a GC2018 Transport Hub to connect Games travellers with shuttle services to the Carrara Sports Precinct, Broadbeach Precinct and Nerang State Forest. If you have to travel by train at the busiest periods, allow plenty of extra time.
PARKING AT NERANG TRAIN STATION
Due to the closure of Boulton Dr, parking in the eastern car park will be unavailable during the Games. You will need to park in the western car park off Warrener St.
OTHER IMPACTS
When travelling through Carrara from the west, be aware Nerang-Broadbeach Rd is closed adjacent to Carrara Stadium. When travelling to Nerang Train Station, Nerang-Broadbeach Rd is closed east of the station. Detours will be in place.
