Boulevard to be tasteful location
DINING is heading outdoors at Broadbeach, but it won’t be an all-weather affair.
Five multimillion-dollar pavilions are being added to the Elizabeth Avenue side of the cafe, bar and boutique shopping area known as The Oracle Boulevard.
No Name Lane’s pavilion is already completed, while construction for structures to enhance the Bavarian Bier Garden and Social Eating House will start after the Commonwealth Games.
The final two are yet to be decided, but will also be in Elizabeth Avenue. Oracle marketing manager Chelsea Steber said the plan for pavilions was to continue enhancing Broadbeach with minimal interruption for the locals.
“The pavilions will not only add to the dining capacity of restaurants but also provide the Gold Coast with additional space to enjoy the sunshine and outdoors,” Ms Steber said.
“The Oracle is such a vibrant precinct. We have the perfect blend of cafes, bars and restaurants.
“This will allow us to increase the capacity of already successful venues.
“Adding the pavilions will allow us to grow without having to massively expand.”
No Name Lane owner Simon McCloy said the new pavilions would provide far more than extra seating.
“The new pavilions allow us to make the most of the Gold Coast lifestyle all year round, with alfresco dining just metres from the beach,’’ he said.
“With our recent remodel and expansion of our dine-in menu, it means we can accommodate more customers at any time, particularly during our breakfast and lunch rush.”
THE PAVILIONS WILL NOT ONLY ADD TO THE DINING CAPACITY OF RESTAURANTS BUT ALSO PROVIDE THE GOLD COAST WITH ADDITIONAL SPACE TO ENJOY THE SUNSHINE AND OUTDOORS
