WHY CAMILLA DESERVES TO BE QUEEN

- Prince Charles’s Camilla, Arthur Edwards, Queen Elizabeth’s

Steve Forrester,

a chef at The Star, watched weightlifter

in the 53kg class on the big screen at The Star’s lawn. She missed a medal but turned up to Garden Kitchen and Bar the next day with friends and family for lunch. Steve spotted her and decided to create a special dessert — a small barbell of chocolate with assorted small chocolates. Tegan obviously enjoyed it and the entire venue gave her a round of applause. Apparently she hadn’t had sugar in three months!

Tegan Napper Mayor Tom Tate:

“The place is supercharged, the coffees are good, they are putting more employees in, so for those ones that are not making it, have a look at your own product.” WHILE the public has been slow to warm to second wife at least one royal watcher believes the couple has more than earned the right to serve as future King and Queen of England.

the official royal photographer for London newspaper The Sun since 1977, has photographed seven (soon to be eight) royal weddings, four funerals and seven royal births.

The veteran royal watcher, 77, is in Australia as part of the British press pack documenting Prince Charles and wife Camilla’s royal tour.

Despite constant speculation Prince Charles could be passed over in favour of elder son, Prince William, as successor, Edwards said Charles – first in line to the throne since he was four years old – would make a terrific King. And when he does become King, Edwards believes Charles should – and will – make Camilla his Queen, not his Princess Consort, as was originally announced when the couple wed in 2005.

Speaking as the Duchess of Cornwall slipped off her shoes to walk barefoot in the sand at Broadbeach this week, Edwards said the woman once voted the mosthated in England was well qualified to serve as Queen.

“She’s a fabulous person. She’s a hard-working lady. She’s a very compassionate, caring lady,” he said.

“She’s got the greatest sense of humour in the world and I love her. I really love her. She’s a great person.”

Edwards said the Duchess of Cornwall was devoted to helping her husband win over the public and assume the throne.

“Her whole purpose in life is to support the Prince,” he said.

“She’s doing all this for him (Prince Charles) you know. Because he’s got such a task ahead of him now to convince Australia and countries like that he would be a good king.

“And the fact is, the Queens’s been so brilliant and as long as she’s alive Australia will never ever raise the question again (of Charles becoming King).

“Of course once she dies then you get all the republicans here kicking off. He’s trying to show that he cares about Australia.”
