$400,000 cancer fake

A MAN who allegedly stole more than $429,318 from his boss by pretending to have cancer is facing a series of fraud charges.

The 43-year-old Sydney man in 2016 allegedly convinced his boss to give him money for cancer treatment. It is also alleged the man fraudulently took 25 days of sick leave in relation to the fake cancer and made 82 unauthorised transactions from the company’s business accounts to his personal accounts.
