Crikey! Steve Irwin gets star on Walk of Fame
HE lives forever in our hearts but Steve Irwin was immortalised by Tinsel Town overnight with the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
More than a decade after his shock death, his widow Terri, daughter Bindi and son Bob gathered, with Irwin’s best mate and director of Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors Wes Mannion helping host the ceremony.
On May 5, wildlife warriors from around the world will attend the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner in Beverly Hills to celebrate his legacy.
Irwin, famous worldwide for his Crocodile Hunter TV shows, was 44 when a stingray killed him with a barb to the heart while he was filming on the Great Barrier Reef.
