DOCTOR CUTS TIES WITH VILLA SITE

- ALISTER THOMSON

A PALM Beach development site - with approval pending for three villas - has hit the market.

Owners Katie Gould, Nicholas Crosland and Dr David Ashford, are selling after acquiring the 1431 Gold Coast Highway property for $785,000 in 2015.

Dr Ashford is one of the owners of Oasis Dental, which recently opened a practice in the Palm Beach area. The three owners of 1431 Gold Coast Highway have lodged a development application with the council to build three, four-level villas on the 412sq m block.

The villas would have rooftops terraces and double lock-up garages.

Mason Kidman, of Avanti Commercial, who is marketing the property with colleague Lachlan Harris, said Palm Beach is one of the strongest growth areas on the Gold Coast.

He pointed to surging property prices, as well as the expansion of the Pavilions shopping centre by Consolidated Properties, as evidence of the surge in interest in the suburb.

In addition, Sunland has soldout its Magnoli Residences development, which consists of 88 terrace homes with plans for apartment towers.

The Gold Coast Highway Property is on the market for $1.35 million.
