The Gold Coast Bulletin

Let’s get behind our QBL hopes

- with Joel McInnes

QBL and SBL seasons start this weekend so get out and support your local teams.

North Gold Coast Seahawks, on the back of several successful SBL seasons, have pushed their chips on to the table and have their first ever season in the QBL.

Excitement must be sky high for the Seahawks as they start the season with a road double against USC and Rip City, both Sunny Coast teams.

There should be a lot of Seahawks making the trip up the highway for their first game tomorrow night.

The Gold Coast Rollers have their first QBL and SBL games on Sunday at TSS.

SBL tips off at 10am and noon (women and men) followed by the QBL at 2pm and 4pm (women and men).

Both Gold Coast teams look stronger on paper this season and there will be a big crowd at TSS to see some of the exciting players take the court.
