Southport theft capital

-

TOYOTA Landcruisers were the most stolen vehicles in Queensland over the past three years, knocking Holden Commodores off the top spot, according to the RACQ.

The result came in an analysis of more than 50,000 claims for stolen vehicles in the past three years that also revealed 18 of the top 20 suburbs targeted by thieves were in the southeast corner.

Southport was the top suburb for stolen cars from January 2015 to the end of December 2017, according to the RACQ. Red Hill, in inner Brisbane, Harristown, in Toowoomba, and Caboolture filled the next spots on the list.
