New Tourism CEO by June
THE coveted job leading Gold Coast Tourism into a post-Commonwealth Games era has attracted international applicants and will be decided by June.
The process is underway to find a replacement for Gold Coast Tourism CEO Martin Winter who this year announced his intention to stand down after 10 years in the role.
Gold Coast Tourism chairman Paul Donovan said: “We are assisting all candidates who came in which was significant from here domestically, interstate and international.
“We’re very happy with the calibre of people who have come forward and shown interest in the position,” Mr Donovan said.
Mr Winter has previously said he will finish up later this year once a replacement is finalised.
