Boston still in race for MVP

SOUTHPORT midfielder Andrew Boston sits second on the NEAFL’s Most Valuable Player leaderboard after four rounds.

While Boston failed to earn a vote in the Sharks’ 33-point loss to Sydney University on Saturday, he is just two votes behind leader Tom Young (26).

Gold Coast’s Jacob Dawson is eighth (16) after picking up six votes in the Suns’ nine-point win over the Sydney Swans.

Aaron Hall registered seven votes in that match, while Will Brodie gained three.
