Sharks set for Super chance
GOLD Coast and Tweed hockey talents will come together as the South Coast Sharks to tackle the state’s best players at the Queensland Super League tournament this weekend.
South Coast, Brisbane, Northern, Central, Wide Bay and South West will also contest the three-day event at the State Hockey Centre in Brisbane.
The competition doubles as a selection trial for Queensland national league, under-21 and country teams.
Brisbane has won the past three men’s and women’s titles.
