Hurrell has to lift game
KONRAD Hurrell reckons he may no longer be Titans coach Garth Brennan’s favourite player.
Hurrell has contracted a serious case of butterfingers this season, amassing 16 errors in just eight games.
Only Penrith playmaker James Maloney (17) has made more errors but he has touched the ball 284 times more than Hurrell in 2018.
Brennan this year publicly declared Hurrell was his favourite NRL player but the Tongan powerhouse thinks he may have cost himself that honour.
“I need to make sure I keep him happy,” he said.
“(My form) hasn’t been pretty … I can’t say the word. It’s not up to standards. I’m dropping too many balls.”
