Papalii aims for Arrow
RAIDERS hitman Josh Papalii is back to his bruising best and has thrown his hat into the mix for Queensland’s No.13 jersey.
Papalii and Titans tearaway Jai Arrow will go toe-to-toe in Canberra on Saturday in what shapes as a duel to be crowned Maroons lock.
Papalii, 25, was languishing in reserve grade a few weeks ago, down on form as Canberra struggled to get going.
But the nine-Origin Queensland incumbent has burst back to life in the past three weeks and was sensational in Canberra’s win over North Queensland last week.
With Josh McGuire (ankle) set to miss Origin I at the MCG on June 6, Walters is eyeing off the in-form Arrow.
