Meth bust appeal won
A PERTH man busted by undercover police with 11kg of methylamphetamine has won an appeal against his 17-and-ahalf-year jail sentence.
Peter Kezkiropoulos, 52, pleaded guilty to possessing meth with intent to sell or supply but appealed against his sentence, arguing it was manifestly excessive and breached the parity principle regarding the terms imposed on two co-offenders.
The WA Court of Appeal agreed the term was manifestly excessive and on Wednesday re-sentenced Kezkiropoulos to 13 years behind bars.
