ABUNDANCE OF WHITING IN SURF GUTTERS

WE are seeing good numbers of whiting caught in the surf gutters around the spit. Tailor have been caught off the sand pumping jetty. There are plenty of squid in the Broadwater, and it is worth trying for jewfish in the seaway. Offshore try for snapper and pearl perch on the 50 fathom reef and still some big Spanish mackerel on the closer reefs.
