NURSE ENJOYS CREATIVE FOCUS

WE asked local beauty Charlotte Cushing what she enjoys about entering beauty quests. “My job as a specialist oncology nurse means my life is non-stop and focused on always caring for others,” Charlotte, pictured, said. “These competitions have given me an outlet to be myself, grow my confidence and create opportunities for my modelling career. Also I really love meeting the other girls from around the country who are so kind and beautiful. I’ve made so many new friends. Over the past few years I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed some success with a win in 2016 Miss Supercars and I was chosen as 1st runner-up in Miss Hawaiian Tropic 2015. The process of competing has helped me to grow as a person and taught me many valuable life skills which have helped with my career.”
