COLLEGE CHALKS UP MILESTONE
WHAT do comedian Carl Barron, Olympians Brittany Broben, Ken Wallace and Jacob Clear OAM, Philippa Boulle from Medecins Sans Frontieres, Lily Van der Meer from Neighbours, Queensland government minister Shannon Fentiman and Councillor Pauline Young all have in common? They are all alumni of Marymount College which this weekend will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a gala dinner at Bond University. Things certainly have changed. In 1968 the College began with just 16 students and two staff, Sister Patricia and Lois Greg, and this year the school formal will host 200 students.
