Ford can’t get look in
HOLDEN’S Craig Lowndes has vowed to snuff out Ford’s Supercars fightback at this weekend’s Perth SuperSprint.
The new Commodore ZB had won seven from eight races before DJR Team Penske driver Scott McLaughlin won a Phillip Island double in his Falcon a fortnight ago to claim the championship lead.
“The Commodore ZB has proven to be a good thing,’’ Lowndes said.
“We did not know how competitive it was going to be at the beginning of the year because we didn’t get a lot of time to do a lot of testing.”
