Refurb at ALDI store

ALDI Runaway Bay is getting a facelift.

The German supermarket chain will shut up shop on Wednesday while it undergoes a “comprehensive store upgrade”.

Management has promised shoppers a fresh new look, including better product displays, improved navigation and modern styling whenthe store reopens 10 days later on May 19.

Many of the improvements have been implemented following extensive store trials and ALDI’s rollout of its modern store design in South and Western Australia.
