Take a bow, B. Crossley
IN two words, Brayden Crossley.
The Suns rookie went in hard, an attractable quality for anyone yet to make a name in a topflight comp like AFL.
He may only be 18 but that ‘I’m going to whack you before you whack me’ mentality is exactly what’s needed by a Gold Coast side more known for turning to water when under pressure than turning to steel.
Crossley is everything a fan loves and the more he plays that way, the more others will be encouraged to follow suit.
The result? Well, for starters a hell of a lot more wins. Then, from there, comes a rebranded culture where being beaten to the footy is no longer good enough.
