WHAT THE FEDERAL BUDGET WILL DELIVER FOR QUEENSLAND

* $5.2 billion, including $3.3 billion for the Bruce Highway.

* $1 billion for Pacific Motorway upgrade between Eight Mile Plains and Daisy Hill, and Varsity Lakes and Tugun. * Sunshine Coast to benefit from $390 million duplicatio­n of rail from Beerburrum to Landsborou­gh.

* $300 million for the Brisbane Metro Project. But no funding for the Cross River Rail project.

* Funding for light rail unlikely as business study yet to be completed.

* A $140 million funding boost for the film industry, in effect increasing the current 16.5 per cent location offset for internatio­nal products to a more competitiv­e 30 per cent.

* The tax on small kegs will be cut in a boost for local craft brewers on the Coast.

* Tax cuts for middle-income earners but unlikely to be more than $12 a week.
