Public ‘in fear of chainsaw’
AN arborist who allegedly revved a chainsaw during a frightening road-rage incident in Sydney’s west last month has faced court.
Alaa El-Zien, 25, appeared in Fairfield Local Court yesterday charged with being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and affray.
Police allege El-Zien, from Padstow, caused members of the public “serious fear and alarm” by revving a chainsaw during an altercation with another driver in Fairfield on the afternoon of April 10. He will face court again on May 21, with his bail to continue.
