BIKASH WAITED FOR HIS SUCCESS

-

BY any measure Bikash Randhawa’s story is an amazing one. A little over 25 years ago he came to Australia from India to study for a degree in hotel management at Griffith University and landed a job as a casual waiter at Sea World Resort. Since that first foray into the tourism and hospitality industry, he has steadily risen through the ranks and last week he climbed another rung on the corporate ladder. His new title is Chief Operating Officer of Village Roadshow Theme Parks - which essentially means he oversees everything. Best of all he is a passionate advocate for tourism and hospitality understanding the importance the industry plays not only in our city but the $190 billion it contributes to Australia’s economy. Hard work and dedication do pay off.
