FISHING

FRESHWATER: Bass in the western arm of Hinze Dam and in the upper reaches of the Coomera River.

OFFSHORE: Mackerel, tuna and snapper starting to appear in close reefs. Conditions offshore expected to pick up in the coming days as the swell drops off, after it rises to two metres today.

JUMPINPIN: Jewfish around as well as giant trevally near the Jumpinpin Bar, with the same conditions also in the Seaway. Baitfish are schooling in the mouth of both areas. Treg jew 65-70 metres east of the Jumpinpin area.
