Talks over cup format

A DECISION on the format for Cricket Gold Coast’s 2018-19 first grade competition is expected within the next week.

The CGC committee met last night to continue talks about the Kookaburra Cup, which consisted solely of one-day matches in 2017-18 following uncertainty about the availability of grounds at Commonwealth Games time.

Feedback from players and clubs about the format change has been mixed.
