New police liaison gigs

NEW liaison officers are being recruited on the Gold Coast by Queensland Police for the LGBTI program.

Yesterday was the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia and for the first time a rainbow flag was raised over Southport Police Station.

Gold Coast LGBTI Liaison Co-ordinator Senior Constable Lorianna Blaylock said it was great the service was showing support for diversity and equality within the workplace and community.
