Feedback sought on sentencing

THE Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council are calling for submissions on child homicide offences from the community.

Members of the public are invited to submit their views on the seven key issues identified by the council’s ‘Sentencing for criminal offences arising from the death of a child: Consultation paper’.

A community session will be held at the Southport Community Centre between 9am to 1pm on June 20.

Submissions close on July 31.
