AFTER conceding 63 points to the cellar-dwelling Sunwolves last weekend, it is scary to think what could happen to Queensland when they take on the Hurricanes tonight.

The Hurricanes are $1.03 favourites with Ladbrokes and surely it is only the most forgiving – or delusional – Reds fan who is willing to back them at $13.

Even the line of 27.5 points doesn’t seem enough.

The Waratahs gave up a 29-0 lead to lose to the Crusaders last weekend, but they have been well-backed to beat the Highlanders on Saturday night. More than 80 per cent of the early money has been for the Waratahs at $2.75, and the Highlanders have been just about friendless at $1.44.
