PALM Beach Currumbin State High would like to congratulate Year 11 student Carter Brodhurst-Hill (above) for his sporting prowess this year.

Carter will be representing Australia in kayaking this weekend, travelling to Adelaide to compete in the Asia Pacific Regatta, but he won’t stop there.

In July, he will travel to Poland for a three-week training camp, before heading on to race in Bulgaria at the World Junior Championships. It’s just the latest in a long line of kayaking achievements for the student, who has previously competed in the State Canoe Sprint Championships and carried the baton at the Commonwealth Games. Palm Beach Currumbin State High wishes him the best of luck.
