THE goal-kicking debut of 16year-old Jamie Whithead has added to Carrara’s growing season of hope in the QFA division 3.
Already basking in big wins over Griffith Moorooka, the previously unbeaten Kedron and a 122-39 victory against Pine Rivers Swans, the Saints have blooded young guns.
Whithead booted two majors and excited the strong crowd while Nick Gentle, brother of Commonwealth Games gold medallist Ash Gentle, showed that a competitive nature is in the blood.
Saints were missing ex Suns rookie Jake Crawford and goalkicker Kyle Powe. Saints face Wynnum on Saturday.
