Surfer in hospital

A WOMAN in her 20s was in a serious but stable condition yesterday after an accident at a popular Gold Coast beach.

At 1.15pm paramedics were called to Rainbow Bay on Snapper Rocks Road after a woman was injured in the water. She was treated for serious spinal injuries and was taken to Brisbane’s Prince Albert Hospital.
