CQ search expanded

A SEARCH for a man missing for 10 days in central Queensland has been expanded, with a rescue helicopter assisting police.

Thomas Paynter, 63, was last seen at a camp site near Agnes Water, south of Gladstone, on May 21, with family members reporting him missing on Monday. Police had been conducting ground searches of the local area since then, however the search was stepped up yesterday with the RACQ Rescue Helicopter scouring the area from the air.
