Two treated after blaze
A MAN was taken to hospital as a result of a house fire in Ormeau late on Wednesday night.
Just after 10pm, emergency services received a number of calls alerting them to a house fire on McIvor St.
A male teenager and a man in his 60s were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The adult man was later transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition for further assessment.
Multiple fire crews attended and battled to extinguish the blaze for more than 20 minutes.
