MISSILE ALERT NOT A HIGHLIGHT

FORMER 4GG stalwart Ken Dickinson has an interesting tale to tell about a recent trip to Hawaii. He and wife Coral were holidaying there at the time the fake alert went out that missiles from North Korea were on the way. “Coral had gone for a run when word came through that it was 15 minutes until the missiles would arrive. It was an awful feeling because I couldn’t get in touch with her, and I couldn’t even get a ‘last’ drink because the bars were empty. The only consoling fact was that there would be no bills to pay from the holiday,” he laughed.
