Slightly easing ECL swell mix although still steady head high and larger sets. Open breaks holding 4-6ft across northern NSW early, grading to 3-4ft towards QLD and settling further inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SW 15 to 20 knots tending S during the afternoon.

TOMORROW

Possible shift of ESE winds for deteriorat­ing conditions. SE swell holds sets at 4 to 5ft along exposed northern NSW breaks, grading to 3 to 4ft+ QLD exposed beaches and smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early SE 10 knots, varying E 10 to 15 knots during the day.
