Cameron’s Lions blow

-

BRISBANE’S season of tough breaks looks set to continue with standout Lion Charlie Cameron facing at least six weeks on the sideline.

The livewire Adelaide Crows recruit limped off in the first half against North Melbourne on Sunday.

The suspected Lisfranc injury to his midfoot, one dreaded in AFL circles, is likely to keep him out for six to eight weeks. But it could even rule him out for the season, with scan results today to reveal the full extent of the damage.

Cameron, Allen Christensen (concussion) and Hugh McCluggage (hamstring) all left the game in the first half.
