Three freed after crash

THREE people were freed from their car after being trapped in a multiple car crash on the M1 last night.

Emergency services received reports of the traffic crash around 6.15pm at Coomera, just past the Coomera River Bridge between Exit 57 Oxenford and Exit 54 Upper Coomera.

Firefighters helped to the three occupants.

At 6.50pm the first person was removed, while a second person was out of the vehicle eight minutes later.

A third person was freed at 7.10pm.

All three were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition. remove
