FRESHWATER: Bass appearing in the creeks as it gets dark, especially in the non-tidal areas of Clear Island Waters but also in the back areas of Hinze Dam.

BROADWATER: Flathead season is just starting, mainly in the sandbars and around the Jumpinpin area at high tide and the bottom of the tide. Tailor, trevally and bream are also around following baitfish. Dart, bream, whiting and tailor being caught along The Spit beaches.

OFFSHORE: Snapper still coming in close, around 35-45m off the Seaway. Jewfish also in the same inshore baitground areas. Along reefs near Mermaid and Palm Beach, mackerel being caught, as well as yellowtail kingfish and amberjack around 50 fathoms.
