Coast to host state titles

SURF Life Saving Queensland has announced the dates and venues for the 2019 Queensland youth, senior and masters championships.

Next year’s youth titles will be held at the Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park club from March 8-10, while the seniors and masters events will be on March 15-16 at Broadbeach.

The 2018-19 season will celebrate 50 years of nippers in Queensland and half a century since the first State Nipper Championships at Burleigh Heads.

Meanwhile, the surf lifesaving community is mourning the passing of Kevin Hoskins, OAM, a life member of the SLSQ South Coast branch.
