Drug dogs challenge

THREE young men will challenge NSW Police in court after authorities announced they would deny entry to Sydney festivalgoers singled out by sniffer dogs, even if no drugs were found.

Tom Raue is one of three plaintiffs planning to file an injunction in the Supreme Court today to stop what has been labelled an overreach of police powers.

The 27-year-old said the often-inaccurate dog indications prompted police body searches that left punters feeling violated.
