Pies are on their side

THEY may have been legendary hellraisers in the past. But for the Rolling Stones, preconcert demands no longer focus on alcohol, cigarettes and smartly dressed women, it seems.

Instead, a nice shepherd’s pie suffices. Ronnie Wood, 71, and Keith Richards, 74, both posted pictures of their pies – in personalised dishes kept on warming trays – during the band’s No Filter tour.

Richards shared a photo on Instagram and wrote “A great shepherd’s pie! Thank you, Manchester !!!! ” Wood shared an image of his pie in Coventry.
