A renewed E’ly wind and swell pattern sets up through the second half of the week.

TODAY

E and SE swell with holding with E’ly wind direction. Steady overlappin­g 3 to 5ft+ sets, grading 2-3ft+ inside the points and bays. WIND: E to SE 10 to 15 knots.

TOMORROW

Easing winds with steady combinatio­n of E’ly swells. Open areas settling out crossed 3-4ft+ sets, tending smaller inside bays and point 2-3ft. WIND: Variable E to SE to 10 knots, tending calm at times.

SUNDAY

Easing E swell as winds fade. Settling but still steady mid range sets for open areas. Exposed breaks holding 2-4ft, grading to 1-2ft inside the points and bays. WIND: Early light and variable tending SW 10 knots during the afternoon.

MONDAY

SSE swell gradually builds with S’ly wind shift. Building textured 3-4ft along exposed northern NSW breaks, grading to 3ft QLD exposed beaches and smaller inside the points and bays. WIND: Early S 10 to 20 knots, varying SE during the day.
