TRACEY PASSES ON THE BATON

WHEN Tracey Spicer started NOW Australia in response to the revelations that created the #metoo movement, she had no idea how big a movement it would become. Her initial request for women in media to contact her with their stories of sexual harassment resulted in 1600 women coming forward. So many that she has stepped aside from her role as national convener for the Women in Media organisation. That position has now be filled by the former editor of this paper, Cath Webber, who along with Kathy McLeish, will be running the annual Women in Media Conference which will be held on the Gold Coast on 14-15th September. Girl power.
