Gun found in couch

A SEMI-AU­TO­MATIC pis­tol was found shoved be­tween couch cush­ions in the swish Q1 apart­ment of a for­mer Hells An­gels bikie and his part­ner, a court heard yes­ter­day.

For­mer bikie Samuel King, 42, and his part­ner Nikki Mau­reen Napier, 30, were both caught with glass pipes dur­ing the Fe­bru­ary 2016 po­lice raid.

King ad­mit­ted to own­ing a pair of knuckle dusters with a blade at­tached which were also found in the apart­ment.

Napier pleaded guilty in South­port Mag­is­trates Court to five charges, in­clud­ing two of pos­sess­ing a weapon, while King pleaded guilty to five charges, in­clud­ing one of pos­sess­ing a weapon and pos­sess­ing dan­ger­ous drugs.

Both are on pa­role af­ter be­ing sen­tenced re­cently in the Supreme Court to 18 months’ prison for drugs found in the apart­ment dur­ing the raid.

Mag­is­trate Clare Kelly added an ad­di­tional one month in prison with im­me­di­ate pa­role re­lease.
