Gun found in couch
A SEMI-AUTOMATIC pistol was found shoved between couch cushions in the swish Q1 apartment of a former Hells Angels bikie and his partner, a court heard yesterday.
Former bikie Samuel King, 42, and his partner Nikki Maureen Napier, 30, were both caught with glass pipes during the February 2016 police raid.
King admitted to owning a pair of knuckle dusters with a blade attached which were also found in the apartment.
Napier pleaded guilty in Southport Magistrates Court to five charges, including two of possessing a weapon, while King pleaded guilty to five charges, including one of possessing a weapon and possessing dangerous drugs.
Both are on parole after being sentenced recently in the Supreme Court to 18 months’ prison for drugs found in the apartment during the raid.
Magistrate Clare Kelly added an additional one month in prison with immediate parole release.
