Roosters hooker Jake Friend is hoping the outbreak of confidence contracted by his side’s Blues contingent after their win in Origin I is contagious and spreads quickly.

“It was awesome to see those guys, both had big performances,” Friend said ahead of tonight’s clash with the Panthers.

“I thought all of our Origin guys played really well in that game.

“Especially Latrell, he walked back in and you couldn’t wipe the smile off his face. He just had a spring in his step.”
