GET YOUR FUTURE ON NEW PATH
TAFE Queensland is opening the doors to its Southport campus tonight so prospective students can explore the diverse range of courses to put them on their career path HAVE you ever wondered just what you want to do with your life? Do you have something you’re passionate about, and
think you might like to turn it into a career?
Do you have a job already, but want to turn things around and increase your chances in the industry?
TAFE Queensland might just
have all the answers to those questions as they open the doors to their Southport campus tonight.
It is an opportunity for prospective students and career enhancers to find out more about mid-year courses and everything that is available in 2019.
On display are state-of-the-art nursing labs, TAFE’s hospitality hub training restaurant, the hair and beauty salons and teachers ready to explain just what training is on offer.
TAFE Queensland Gold Coast Region general manager Kate Dickinson has previously told Inspire that studying at TAFE allowed for an expertise she did not think could be found elsewhere.
“An advantage of studying at TAFE Queensland means you are taught by people who know what employers are looking for in the industry,” she said.
“We offer high-quality training that provides students with outstanding opportunities.”
The information session will also offer exhibitors from courses such as accounting and bookkeeping, beauty, business, community services, early childhood education, legal services and interactive gaming and design.
Many of the courses will have their own interactive displays tonight, whether they be fitness demonstrations or music opportunities.
Legal services will also be hosting its industry Q&A with students, graduates and employers all on hand to answer those pressing questions on working in the legal services sector.
The information session is on tonight, 4-7pm, at TAFE’s Southport campus on Scarborough St, Southport.
